Auditory Integration Issues

We talked about this topic before in the articles Sensory Integration Issues as well as Quetions and Answers.
I would like to add a few more things that are useful for autisic individuals with auditory issues in particular.
Hear are the tips:
1- In case of fire drill at school, it might be a good idea to take the child out before the drill is announced. Usually teachers know ahead the schedule.
2- Have the child wear a sound reducing ear muffs that can be found in music supplies stores. Previously I also talked about earplugs and headphones, the same rule applies hear: the use of all these devices should be regulated. They cannot be worn permenantly, otherwise they may cause deafness. www.earplugstore.com
