CNN breaking news about the skyrocketing prevalence in autism from the CDC.

In the U.S. one child in 88 has autism, and one boy in 54 has autism.

The reason is not accurately known. Is it the  better diagnosis, or the environmental factors, or something else responsible for this surge in the number of kids affected with Autism Spectrum Disorders?

78% increase in autism prevalence between 2000 and 2008.
