You can now take the time to explore and find what would help your child progress while having fun.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #270bf3;\"><strong>For parents<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1- Read some books about autism. In my <a href=\"https:\/\/autism-tips.com\/?page_id=1223\" target=\"_blank\">book<\/a> you will find a long list of very helpful titles. Also, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.templegrandin.com\/templegrandinbooks.html\" target=\"_blank\">Temple Grandin&#8217;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2- Watch some movies about autism. &#8220;Temple Grandin&#8221; HBO movie is very inspiring. &#8220;The Odd Way Home&#8221; on Netflix is encouraging and uplifting. &#8220;Son-Rise&#8221; A Miracle of Love, is another heartwarming and touching movie.<\/p>\n<p>3- Subscribe in a magazine for kids with ASD to stay connected. For example: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.autismparentingmagazine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Autism Parenting Magazine<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/autismdigest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Autism Asperger&#8217;s Digest<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.autism-society.org\/about-the-autism-society\/publications\/autism-advocate\/\" target=\"_blank\">Autism Advocate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>4- Join a program to get trained to how to help your child with autism. Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/LakeshoreLearning1\" target=\"_blank\">Lakeshore Learning<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/MichaelsStores\" target=\"_blank\">Michael&#8217;s<\/a> they have endless ideas.<\/p>\n<p>2- Scholastic and educational books are even available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.costco.com\/I-See-Me!-Personalized-Children%E2%80%99s-Book-or-Puzzle-E-Voucher.product.100150101.html?catalogId=10701&amp;keyword=books+for+kids&amp;langId=-1&amp;storeId=10301&amp;refine=\" target=\"_blank\">Costco<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3- <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toysrus.com\/shop\/index.jsp?categoryId=2255956\">Toys R Us<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/theimum.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">games<\/a> are great for a long summer vacation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/funandfunction.com\/sale.html\" target=\"_blank\">4- Occupational therapy supplies<\/a> will provide you with so many ideas to help you with your child&#8217;s specific challenge.<\/p>\n<p>5- Build play structures with your child.
