Without communication we cannot have peace, harmony and support for each other.\u00a0<strong>Parents of children with special needs are particularly required to be active and proactive communicators.<\/strong> Why?<\/p>\n<p>From my experience, parents who lock themselves up in their shells tend to aggravate their problems. They condemn themselves to live with their made-up believes and assumptions, based on hopelessness, shame or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/autism-tips.com\/?p=5\" target=\"_blank\">denial<\/a>. These beliefs keep turning and growing everyday in their heads like a snowball.<strong> Their perspective becomes narrow.<\/strong> Parents then become non-factual and their actions will be less effective, due to being based on illusionary foundations.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/autism-tips.com\/?p=1289\" target=\"_blank\">What should these parents do?<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"DiggThisButton DiggMedium\" href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/health\/Everyday_Life_with_Autism_Communication_is_key\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Humans are social beings.\u00a0We need to communicate in order to function as a society.
